With the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health and 11 hospitals: a ground-breaking conference of internship committee coordinators from all over the country!
Last week, an important conference was held at Laniado Hospital, which united for the first time the coordinators of the internship committees in the hospitals in Israel!
It was a unique opportunity to discuss the training processes of the male and female interns, and to improve the tools and frameworks that will allow them to excel in the profession.
The conference was held at the initiative of the Director of the Teaching and Education Authority at Laniado Hospital, Mr. Moshe Yana, who contributed greatly to its success and to establishing an in-depth professional dialogue.
At the conference, key issues such as issuing a license, shortening the internship period and optimal placement of interns in the various departments were discussed.
Prof. Zvi Shimoni, the medical director of Laniado, said:
“This conference is a significant milestone in ensuring the successful absorption of the interns in the hospitals and in leading quality professional training”.
