Last week we held a fascinating international conference on the Elizarov method. The conference dealt with the treatment of deformities, limb lengthening and complicated fractures, and was attended by lecturers from Israel and the entire world, that came to share their knowledge and experience. The method, developed in 1990, is considered a real breakthrough in the field of orthopedics!

The conference was attended by representatives of many hospitals across the country, including Rambam, Ziv, Galilee Medical Center, Bnei Zion, Shamir Assaf Harofeh, Ichilov, Sheba, Wolfson, Kaplan, Barzilai and Hillel Yaffe.

Lectures from leading lecturers

The conference hosted renowned experts from Israel and all over the world, including Dr. Lu Shawn, Prof. Mark Edelman and Dr. Leonid Solomin. Dr. Schon presented the updates in the external fixation methods, Prof. Edelman conducted a workshop on safe anchoring, and Dr. Solomin presented innovative solutions for correcting complex deformities. In addition, Prof. Haim Starker and Dr. Talia Aronovitzky contributed in-depth lectures on the challenges of foot and ankle surgery.
