For the first time in Laniado – a professional research conference of the Research Authority
Last week, the first research conference of the new research authority was held with great success at Laniado Hospital.The conference, held in strategic cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at Ariel University under the leadership of Dean Prof. Shay Ashkenazi, presented a wide range of ground-breaking research in many fields, including gynecology, pediatrics, blood vessels, infections, orthopedics, endocrinology and cardiology.The doctors and the researchers presented their impressive works in short lectures and fascinating posters, emphasizing their contribution to the advancement of medical knowledge and the development of innovative treatments.The conference was a huge success and was attended by many doctors from the health funds in the Sharon region, thanks to the hard work of Mrs. Tilly Burnett, the director of the Research Authority, and her dedicated team.During the conference, financial grants were awarded to three prominent researchers, including an outstanding intern, in order to encourage the continuation of fruitful research activity.The research authority at Laniado Hospital – leaders in the field of medical research!
