Inauguration of the Conference Room at the Fortified Maternity C Department: A Donation by the Shayo Family from Netanya

In an emotional ceremony attended by the family and hospital management, the new conference room in the physicians' wing was inaugurated. It will serve the medical team for productive work meetings and enhance the medical care experience.

Laniado Hospital celebrated a deeply moving event this week with the inauguration of the new conference room in the physicians' wing of the sheltered Maternity C Department. The luxurious conference room was generously donated by Ariela and Morris Shayo, residents of Netanya, who wished to support the hospital's extensive medical work and contribute to the community in which they live.

The Shayo couple arrived at the hospital accompanied by their children and began the visit with a comprehensive tour of the new and magnificent department. They were accompanied by Mr. Eli Knoller, Director of Community Relations in Netanya and Director of Resource Development for Laniado in Florida, and Mr. Meir Mark, Vice President of Development and Forgan Affairs. During the tour, the family was highly impressed by the exceptional medical and hospitality standards of the seltered department, which was built to provide safety and an ideal response for mothers, even during times of emergency.

Ribbon Cutting, Mezuzah Affixing, and a "L'Chaim" Toast

At the conclusion of the tour, the attendees arrived at the physicians' wing, where the official conference room inauguration ceremony took place. Mrs. Ariela Shayo was honored with unveiling the plaque commemorating the donation, Mr. Morris Shayo affixed the Mezuzah at the entrance of the room, and the children, alongside their parents, excitedly cut the ribbon.

Following this, the attendees gathered in the new conference room for a festive "L'Chaim" toast, joined by Dr. Yael Yekel, Director of the Maternity Department at Laniado Hospital, and the department staff.

Words of Greeting and Appreciation

The first to offer his blessings was Mr. Eli Knoller, who warmly welcomed the family and praised the Shayo family, noting their warm hearts and their ongoing partnership with Laniado Hospital.

Dr. Yekel, Director of the Maternity Department, shared the importance of the room for the medical staff with those present: "Thanks to this new and fully equipped conference room, we can hold productive team meetings, discuss complex cases, and provide the best and most professional care to our patients. This space empowers the team's ability to work together in the best possible way."

Mr. Meir Mark, VP of Development and Forgan Affairs, gave the attendees an overview of Laniado Hospital's momentum of development. He elaborated on the essential need for establishing a new, fortified, and state-of-the-art maternity department for the benefit of the residents of Netanya and the surrounding area. Mr. Mark sincerely thanked the Shayo family for their honorable and significant contribution to the hospital's strength.

"A Great Privilege to Help Bring Life into the World"

The most moving moment of the event occurred when the floor was given to the donor, Mr. Morris Shayo. In an emotional voice, Morris thanked the hospital management for the opportunity given to them: "For us, it is a great privilege to give back to the community where we live, and an even greater privilege to take part and help, even if in a small way, in a place where new lives are brought into the world."

Laniado Hospital extends its heartfelt thanks to Ariela and Morris Shayo and their children for their generosity of heart and their support for the future generation and the medical team that works day and night for the health of the patients.
