A tribe of nurses – together they strengthen the resilience of the team in the emergency medicine department!

This week we had the exciting opportunity to host Dr. Shoshi Goldberg, the head nurse at the Ministry of Health and head of the Nursing Administration, and her staff, for an empowering and inspiring meeting in the emergency medicine department.

Personal and professional connection: Dr. Goldberg met with the shift supervisor and emphasized the importance of cooperation and support in the teams.

Sharing insights and findings: data from attrition questionnaires and studies were presented, with the aim of identifying the main challenges and adapting solutions.

Resilience and safety project: the department was joined to the national plan for preserving strength and safety, with an emphasis on adaptation to the unique needs of the teams.

Development for the future: it was agreed to continue holding additional meetings, which will focus on developing tools and processes aimed to strengthen individual and group resilience.

Special thanks also to our head nurse, Shimrit Roni, who hosted the meeting, together with Judith Isaacs, the head nurse of the emergency medicine department, with exceptional sensitivity and professionalism.

It was an important and exciting day, entirely dedicated to taking care of our teams both on a personal and professional level, so that they have the strength to continue doing what they do best.
